Meet Lilian, Jeroen & the Hasekamp Family

We’re Lilian and Jeroen, originally from the Netherlands, but now completely at home in the heart of South Africa. Together with our family—some of whom are now building their own lives across Europe—we've always embraced adventure. After spending a decade in Qatar, we followed our dream and made South Africa our home in 2020.

That dream grew into Hasekamp Safari Lodges: two very different lodges, each offering its own unique safari experience. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly bush escape or an exclusive luxury Big 5 adventure, we've created places where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience Africa in a truly personal way.

As owners, we're closely involved in every stay. Together with our passionate local team, we love sharing the South Africa we've come to know and love.
