General Information

Rates are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and payments will always take place in ZAR

All rates are inclusive of VAT

Bookings are subject to availability.
Rate Changes
All tariffs are subject to change without prior notice.
However, rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured
Hasekamp Family Bush Lodge

Packages

When booking one of our Safari Packages, the inclusions may vary depending on the specific itinerary.

Each package will clearly outline what is included and excluded in the quoted rate.
Payment Cancellation
PAYMENT TERMS

A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking, payable within 14 days of the invoice date.

The remaining 70% balance is due 6 months (180 days) prior to arrival.
-
All extras (such as beverages, activities, or gratuities) can be settled directly at the lodge during your stay.
CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing.
-
A minimum cancellation fee of 10% applies to all cancellations.

More than 18 months prior to arrival: 10% cancellation fee
-
Between 18 and 12 months prior to arrival: 30% cancellation fee
-
Between 12 and 6 months prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee
-
Between 180 and 45 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee
-
Less than 45 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee
-
Guests who have paid the full booking amount and need to cancel more than 6 months before arrival may reschedule their stay free of charge, subject to availability, to any date within 18 months of the original arrival date.

We always do our best to remain flexible in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Changes during stay
If guests decide during their stay to modify their reservation or terminate their stay early, the full original booking remains payable. Booked nights, activities, transfers and other services are non-refundable. Any additional costs resulting from changes or new bookings are entirely at the guest’s expense.
Alternative accommodation
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to offer a comparable alternative accommodation.
General flexibility
We always strive to find an appropriate solution within the applicable terms and conditions.
Children
Children Policy
Hasekamp Family Bush Lodge

Children of all ages are warmly welcome at the Lodge.

Ages 0 – 4: Stay free of charge.

Ages 5 – 11: May share a room with their parents.
Hasekamp Wildlife Mansion
-
The Mansion offers a tranquil, luxury experience and is therefore not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
-
Teenagers 10 years and older are welcome when accompanied by adults.
